For motherhood to truly be a rewarding experience, it's important for us to not lose sight of who we are in our journey. It can often feel like there's some unwritten expectation that you should surrender your identity when becoming a parent; but the truth is, embracing and owning all aspects of yourself—including both the mom and the badass human—is absolutely possible! Because with some thoughtful planning and dedication to yourself, you can do it all!

Mentally Stronger Than Ever Before 
As a mom, you quickly learn how to juggle multiple tasks at once and prioritize which job needs to get done first. You develop an inner strength that allows you to think on your feet and make decisions quickly. On top of all this, you are constantly learning how to be patient with yourself and others during challenging moments. All of these skills translate into being mentally stronger than ever before! 

Breaking Through “Motherhood Norms”  
No matter what anyone says, being a mother does not have to define who you are or limit what you can do in life. Being a mother has allowed me to become more focused on achieving goals outside of motherhood such as running a business,  achieving physical goals and pushing myself beyond what I thought was possible. While it’s important that Elliana knows she is loved unconditionally by her parents, it’s also important for her to see her mom pushing herself outside her comfort zone too! 

Being a mom is one of the greatest blessings any woman can receive yet it can often come with feelings self-doubt or guilt for wanting something more out of life. But don’t let those feelings consume you because you are capable of achieving anything despite having little ones! Motherhood has made me physically and mentally stronger than ever before while also allowing me to break through traditional “motherhood norms” by setting goals that challenge myself each and every day. So don’t let anyone tell you otherwise; if anything, becoming a mom is exactly what will help make you into the strong woman you were meant to be!
